Harris A. Dainoff of Fox Rothschild’s Philadelphia office was recently elected to the Board of Supervisors in East Norriton, serving a six-year term. Dainoff was sworn in Jan. 4.
As a Supervisor, Dainoff will oversee a $26 million budget and play a central role in the government of the township. Located in Montgomery County, Pa., East Norriton is a township of the second class in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Acting as the legislative body for the township, the Board consists of five members charged with setting policy, enacting ordinances and resolutions, adopting budgets and levying taxes.
As a member of the firm's Real Estate Department, Dainoff focuses his practice on a broad range of transactional real estate matters, including commercial real estate dispositions and acquisitions, bulk sales transactions, real estate financing matters and retail, office, commercial and industrial leasing transactions.
Active in his community, Dainoff is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He also serves as an executive member of the Montgomery County Democratic Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Dainoff was a law clerk with an area law firm, where he assisted attorneys with real estate and corporate transactions.
Dainoff earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2006 and his B.A. from Tufts University in 2002 graduating magna cum laude.
