Fox Rothschild has a long and proud tradition of participating in efforts that benefit the communities in which we live and work. Consistent with that tradition, the firm is committed to reducing its impact on the environment and promoting environmental stewardship. The firm is committed to implementing sustainable programs that reduce our environmental impact by efficiently using and reusing resources, saving energy, and reducing waste in a manner that is consistent with our other core values. We will work with our employees, clients, business partners and communities in efforts to promote and achieve environmental excellence and sustainability.

Initiatives include firm-wide recycling, adopting environmentally friendly printed materials, and additional "green" projects to help achieve sustainability and to conserve resources such as water, paper, and electricity. Additional goals include seeking out office space that meets "green" requirements.

For example, our Chester County office has achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in both the Commercial Interiors and Core and Shell categories. The building was created using 22 percent recycled materials, and 78 percent of the construction waste generated by the development was recycled. Interior features include water-saving restroom facilities and other energy-efficient systems, such as Energy Star brand computers and office machines. Interior wall and floor coverings were selected by Fox, and are designed to keep toxin release at a low level.

To help further our environmental initiative, the firm has created an Environmental Committee, which is made up of both attorneys and administrative staff members, with subcommittees in each of our 15 offices. The Committee will be closely examining the firm's use of resources to develop a plan for further conservation.
